JW3208 self calibrating handheld optical power meter is a precise, durable and convenient portable test instrument specially designed for installation, operation and maintenance of optical fiber network. It has smart appearance, selectable switch's backlight display, automatic shutdown function, ultra wide optical power test range, precise test accuracy, new user self calibration function and general interface design.

This kind calibration type optical power meter is for handheld installation, operation and maintenance of optical fiber network special design of a precise, durable, convenient portable test instrument. PON power meter is a small size, low loss and good quality handed-held optical power meter. It is designed for the testing, installation and maintenance of FTTX PON network, which can be used for APON, BPON, EPON and GPON network. It has two output ports for ONU and OLT/Video, which supports CW/burst upstream detection at 1310nm and downstream signal at 1490/ 1550nm. It can directly show the status of pass, warning or failure by threshold testing. FHP2P01 is the ideal tool for PON setting and maintenance.

Feature

LCD display screen
LCD shows the measured optical power value in the form of dB, dBm, mW, uW and nW. The set wavelength is 850nm, 980nm, 1300nm, 1310nm, 1490nm, 1310nm, and the current working state of optical power meter.
Open key
According to the ON/OFF key to the liquid crystal display, you can start the JW3208, and at the same time in the boot state, press the key, you can turn off (after the start of 1 second clock).
DB key
At set wavelengths, the relative measurement of the value of the light power is carried out.
ZERO key
Press the key to make the self - zero of the light power meter.

Instructions
Turn on / turn off
Hold down the ON/OFF key on the surface, and LCD shows that the boot is finished.

Absolute optical power measurement
1. open the light power meter.
Set the measurement wavelength. The wavelength is selected by the lambda bond. The default is set to 1310nm.
The access is measured, and the screen is displayed as the current measured value, including the linear and nonlinear values of absolute power.
Relative optical power measurement
Set the measurement wavelength.
2. in the absolute light power measurement mode, the measuring light is connected and the current power value is measured.

3. press the dB key, and the current optical power value is the current reference value (in dBm). At this time, the absolute power value is displayed and the relative optical power value is 0dB.
4. access another measuring light, showing the absolute light power and relative light power of the current measured light.
Special function
JW3208 has three mode of work, 1: factory mode, 2: user mode, 3: work mode, usually enter work mode.
The factory method is measured and corrected by the factory.
User modification mode
At the same time press the lambda +Light key, then enter the user mode, the upper right corner shows the number "1". If you press the lambda +Light button again, exit the user mode, enter the work mode, and display the number "0" in the upper right corner.

Remarks: if user calibration or deviation occurs, it can be restored to the factory status by "lambda" and "Zero" button in the "user modification" mode.
10 minutes automatic shutdown function: press LIGHT+dB, open / close the automatic shutdown function. When you open the automatic shutdown function, the upper right corner of the screen showing off the mark, 10 minutes without key press, automatic shutdown.
5.4.4, backlight opening / canceling function: in the working mode, press LIGHT to open / close the backlight. When the backlight is opened, a sign of a small sun is displayed on the right side of the screen, indicating that the backlight is in the open state.
